Dr Minniti: As usual, you put together a great course, and notably, your material has been refreshed. However, I suggest that you cross a line sometimes. Preventing elder abuse of course is a moral obligation, however, so also is the observance of senior citizens' rights. I've seen later-in-life senior citizen romantic relationships, which brought joy and meaning to both members, stymied by the elder's children and lesser heirs who were ostensibly motivated to "protect" the elder but in reality, were more interested in legacy protection (read: protection of their presumed inheritance). In this case, the elder's joy was sacrificed to their collective greed. We must maintain the dignity of those who are aging, so we must be careful to question our own motivations when we say we act in their behalf. I speak from experience. Mike Kaminm
