IFRS 15 provides a clear and structured framework for revenue recognition by focusing on the transfer of control rather than the transfer of risks and rewards. The five-step model improves consistency and comparability across industries and contracts, especially for complex arrangements. While implementation can be challenging due to judgment-intensive areas such as performance obligations and variable consideration, it significantly enhances transparency and disclosure quality. Overall, IFRS 15 strengthens the reliability and usefulness of revenue information for financial statement users.

This was a valuable learning experience. The presenter was a learned personality with rich experience. The handout material was a good value addition. I recommend MyCPE.
CS
It was good to come across new learnings as not from the accounting background
JR
Informative.

I thought this course in particular was pretty slow moving and items were repeated multiple times. The layout was a bit hectic and I think if organized better with more upbeat flow could have kept the user engaged more.

Thanks so much for a very good presentation. This was especially important information for me as I am a not-for-profit CFO but I teach in an accounting program. Because of my focus, there are a number of areas in the for-profit world that I lack clear knowledge of. Mike's presentation was very helpful for my in the area of SPACs. Thank you!

Usually the myCPE presenters are lively and engaging. This one literally read over 100 slides and didn't provide any useful, unique or helpful insights. The course title said "real life examples" and the real life examples were done as a bullet point with a "you can research them on your own" caveat. This was a real disappointing 2 hours and $20 spent.
LW
The course was very informative and i learned information valuable to my current role.
JB
Presentation was effective in explaining about contributions which is very important in an NPO which I am an accountant for.
